Steve, if you had not mentioned the Minnesota Renaissance Festival, I would have bought into the whole Hobbit idea.

I just love the detail throughout and the bright, vivid colors. Everything about it is well done!

Great shot - but for hobbits - round doors with the knob in the middle. Per JRR Tolkein anyway. I love the exposure, the composition and the subject. I don't have a problem seeing the old gaffer out front with his pipe telling Sam how to trim the verge ;-)
