Hey John,
I love this long and narrow image. I'm going to vote that it's a photograph that’s been stitched from two or more photos. Either way, it's definitely a 10 image.

I just returned from San Jose del Lucas (Cabo) and this pic looks almost exactly like what I was seeing there!... water-wise! The thing that is different is the cloudy sky. I never did think of stitching. But it could be done if things line-up right or multiple cameras were used. My guess, from the dimensions, is 3 or 4 shots. Very nice! :o)
My money's on a photo (or rather, several stitched together) on account of the "imperfection" of the little dot on the water to the left - a swimmer or a seagull perhaps? This is a magnificent image and it deserves very high marks in the C-Index.
I much appreciate all the comments I receive about my images, but please excuse me if I don't always reply. My interest in Caedes is exceeding my time available!
The reality here is... This is a single shot, taken on new years day at Imperial Beach, I cropped this otherwise uninteresting photo and played with color, brightness, contrast and sharpness. Most everything is over-exaggerated but I really thought it put some character in the shot. The black dot is actually a surfer. Glad everyone liked it so much!
There's something about the sky that makes one wonder if this is not a painting...but I'll join the opinions, above, to say it is a handsomely stitched photograph. Sensational work.
