In my hometown in Nebraska we had this jukebox that stood in a favorite cafe all through High School. We used to be able to buy the used records for a dime and even though they were scratched up we would still play them on our record machines till we had to buy new needles. Those were the days!!

For me it was the Beach Boys, Jan and Dean, The Everly Brothers, or maybe even that Elvis guy. A girl with a poodle on her skirt and , a burger, fries, and milk shake finished off the scene. Thanks for the memory revisited, Carol.

I remember (I am 80 years old) the jukeboxes and gramophones very well too Carol. Good entry for the contest.

I'm searching for some quarters in my wallet now, Carol, because I won't miss my favorite music.
Perfect find and very apt as entry for the current contest.
Wish you Good Luck with it!

A fantastic contest entry, Carol...bound to tug at more than a few heart strings...I too remember these as well as the smaller versions that you could play sitting in a booth at some restaurant or diner...very clear capture here and when enlarged you can read a lot of the titles...my husband would be thrilled at all the Everly Bros. songs so I'll pop in some change for a couple of their songs and choose an Elvis song for myself...thanks for the memories and best of luck in the contest.

Great entry Carol. I remember the 45's and the juke boxes. I agree about those being the "good ole days."
