He's gonna hurt. What an image. There is an energy and at the same time controlled chaos. All of the elements come together here in one great image. How did you ever get in a position to get this image? 10 by me for sure.
Agree with Robert and the rest. It is an excellent capture. I have seen these guys pull out of this position back to vertical. I guess we are all anxious to know if this was a successful feat or not?
Yes, as far as I remember, he had no trouble bouncing straight back up and skiing down the hill, but he would not have scored highly on his landing. In fact the gold bib signifies that he was the winner the previous day and, sadly for him, he did the same thing in his final jump in the competition. The winner broke the world record score on Sunday.I'll post a shot soon.

If my comment on your work ever seems to criticise, it does not. It is always so that we may learn together.
Good shot. I would again have cropped it much tighter, excluding the non-important stuff, like the lower parts of the fence and the legs of the platform/hut. My motto for sports photography is "tight and bright".
I cant imagine HOW you took this photo, you must have either been on the move also, or you had a great spot to use your zoom in..but either way, its a tremendous photo..it just came thru the voting booth, and it sure did make me stop and think! Wow..the feeling that skiier must have had! OUchies!!..verena
