Hi! And welcome to Caedes!

I like your shot...looks like it had just finished raining with all the nicely vivid color you captured here.

I have one suggestion for you (and you can take it or leave it) but I might try to lighten up the whole upload just a little bit with some computer software. I'm going to include a LINK HERE to some suggestions that the Caedes crew recommends.

Other than that...nicely done and I'm looking forward to seeing more of your work!

I am assuming that is YOUR dog. She looks like she is watching for traffic, so you must have her trained really well. I like the colors in this shot, and the country look. I also like the cloud streaks in the sky. Very nice.

Hi There and welcome to caedes!
This is a lovely shot of Gracie Girl and the colors and very nicely done. Maybe just a tad lighter would be better. I think you did a great job and will add you to my friends list.

Welcome to caedes! Lovely colors on the grass, the sky is beautiful and the dog...well the dog certainly is paying attention to something isn't he? Look at those ears. Well done and looking forward to more.

Hello young sir!...and welcome to Caedes!....

Your dog don't seem to want it's photo taken!....perhaps someone out of sight is teasing it with a cookie eh!...

Your first post is always 'special' and you done well here...The attraction here is the dog!....If you apply what is known to us 'photographers' as the 'Rule of Thirds' this will 'tighten' up the whole image.....and at the same time...lighten it a tad!.

I can see 'two' pictures in this!...one is of course 'Gracie...the other is a landscape at the upper part of the image with fence, tractor and sky!...

Very nicely done!...please keep up this fine work!

You have very nice coloring on this shot. The contrasting of the blues with the greens is very well done. I also like the contrasting make up of the two different fences. The dog has spotted something and that reaction has added story to your photo. Over-all, very nice. Welcome to Caedes. I am looking forward to seeing more of your work as time goes on.

I love all the colors in the landscape that you have captured, and the wide open feeling of the whole picture. Everything, including Gracie, is nicely in focus. Good one!

You've gotten some excellent suggestions from other people, so I'll just say, Welcome to Caedes!

Hello Stixx, welcome to this wonderful site. You're asking my opinion on your image. Now that's quite simple as it's a great one for a first post. If you have the intention to post more images, I like to say that this image is promising for the images to come.
I'm curious about your age, real name, and where you're coming from (watching your post think it's either the UK or the USA). Hope to see this information sooner or later in your 'user information' file.
Have a great weekend dear friend!
Regards from Holland (Europe), Cornelius.

She looks very bright and alert - what has she seen out to the left I wonder? Looking at the background on this it makes me think of the Wizard of Oz for some reason - I think it's the lovely slopes of the field and the yellow of the corn. You got some good advice from PJ on lightening this up I reckon, that's a good trick to learn for the future. It's a great first post - I also like the 'X' of plane vapour trails on the right, I bet Gracie never noticed that ;-)
