I think you did a fantastic job, and being the horse lover that I am I'm faving it. So well composed and love the cloudy sky and the reflections of both the horse and clouds. Way to go Stixx you did a great job. sandi♥
You really are obtaining an eye for a photo Stixx. I believe this is you best one so far. You will only get better. Thanks for letting me help. You had done all the hard work.
What a great composition. You're so lucky to have all these beautiful animals around you. I think your Da's idea of the reflection of the horse was a good one as well.
We don’t make art to show someone what something looks like. All this requires is eyes (or a lens). Art is supposed to have meaning, emotion, power, or magic. Alan & Mario "FourThirds"
I like it Brax, I think Da was right about the reflection in the water too. I like those clouds a lot as well - they make it all look a bit like a cartoon. It's a horse's paradise.
Wow ... you are getting very good with the camera. I love the horses reflection. An excellent capture Stixx & some mighty fine editing by Da also. Thank you for sharing. Have a good weekend.
Congratulations to both of you on a job well done. This is a great shot, and the reflections are super. I love that sky you have there. Excellent work.
Wow, there are so many excellent aspects to this photo! Lets see, the sky and clouds are beautiful, and I like the way you proportioned them in the image. The reflection of the horse and clouds in the pond also adds to the charm of the photo. The colors are very strong. The focus is right on, and the composition is great. I feel I am standing on a hill looking down on this scene and seeing it through your eyes! Nice one Stixx!
I trotted over to your gallery from your Granddads link, you've taken a lovely shot here, & Da post edited it very well too .. take special care with that broken arm !
Regards .. Phil
Fabulous image, I love all those horses. We raised horses on a big horse farm in Kentucky while I lived there. You and your dad did a super job and I do love the reflections in the watering hole. Your capture reminds me of good old KY & our horses
