Hmm ... you have a few visual surprises in this one if one looks closely.
I was somewhat ... somewhat undecided on the two additional 'fan' structures around the jewel ... now ... I am a convert to your way of presentation. It works better to have included them. My first thought was to simplify and remove them ... I realize that this would result in a 'duller' and 'flatter' piece.
Gorgeous colour palette. Works very well here. Quite soothing to the eye and visual psyche.
Excellent work.
And but of course ... thank you for sharing your efforts. This is quite nice. :o)
