Just a nice desktop. Shot with a Canon A-1, 35mm f 3.5 in a water housing while swimming in the surf at Salt Creek in San Juan Capistrano.

Hey, anybody can do this kinda shot. All it takes is a waterproof camera and a willingness to sit in the impact zone and get beat up by the waves. No problem!...lol. I just noticed on dpreview.com that Olympus is coming out with the 720sw digital which is waterproof, I might just pick one up so that I can share more of my ocean experiences. Hang Ten!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I surfed in my teens (of course I lived in Hawaii and ditched school every time the wave report was good) but I would never have thought to actually try to capture a curl! This is a cool shot!!!

I knew that was Saly Creek. I board there all the time in the summer. I recognize the cliffs in the background! Great picture!! Do you have an waterproof housing or was that takin by a water prook camera? Wow...I really must know...great picture!! Who knows...I could have been paddling out that day!
