"I never looked for it, gave it no name; yet I knew it always, when the gift of peace came. I stood quite still for the moment that it lasted...Then the light shifted slightly and the moment passed, leaving me...with the lasting echo of its presence.." Diana Gabaldon
Lol ... gotta laugh a bit here ... every now and then, a particular image does indeed catch my eye. Not readily identifiable to me who the author is ... of course, I go in for a closer look.
And a number of times ... a number of times ... those images have been yours. "Wye", "Steam" being but two examples of finds of your creativity behind the lens.
I'm always amazed at how many great shots are in the Caedes archive, like this one, that I had never seen before, even though I've been a Cadesian for almost 6 years. I love the way the calm of the entire scene is broken by the passage of the plane, and even that is fairly calm in the way the wake gently curves outward. Great color and composition here and the pano treatment is perfect, giving a wide view of the lake(?) but a concentrated point of intent for the pilot.
If you've ever wanted to make a difference but found it hard to believe that one person could... check out the Kiva Team Caedes discussion thread and discover that anything is possible.
