I believe that I have taken and posted a photo of this bend in the river before. This is much lighter and brighter with more color.

Tom, thanks for another wonderful wintry capture. The slightly coloring makes the winter less harsh. I wonder somewhat about the vantage point. Must have been not that accessible.

I was on a bridge Cornelius , on a back country road. The blue hue is from the deep blue skies we get here in the winter. I attempted to tone it down but it did not look right so I left it. Underexposed snow tends to come out blue but it was bright white here so I knew that it was not camera setting issue.
