And so our intrepid band of adventurers reached Bird Claw Outcrop, where they paused to take stock. They looked dubiously at the dark, forbidding wood and gathering clouds.

"Is there going to be a storm, do you think?" ventured one.

"I'm not sure," responded another. "They look a little sketchy to me."

"The whole place looks kind of sketchy," grumbled somebody at the back. "I worry the nightwalker will appear at any moment!"

There was a murmur of agreement.

"Well, we certainly don't want to be hanging around here at nightfall," said the leader with a shiver. "Let's leave a few libations for luck, shall we, and move on?"
