I posted a color version of this picture, and a black and white version. It seemed like about a 50-50 split in which one people preferred so I went back to the drawing board. Here you begin in color and walk into a soft sepia past. Trying to combine the best of both worlds. Any thoughts?

very nice, the only thing i find is that my eye is somehow drawn to a vertical line running down the middle, this is probably because of how you blended the differently coloured pics, you just might want to try something a little different, or on the other hand, maybe im just crazy

This reminds me of a certain part in the movie Pleasantville. It's a part where Toby McGuire's character is driving in his car with his girlfriend. As they're driving down a road, it's all lined with, I'm guessing cherry blossom trees (I'm horrible and knowing names of flowers and trees and plants), and the road i believe was still black and white, he was black and white, his car might have been in color, but the trees were in color and all the petals were flying around in the backwind of his car driving by. My favorite part of that movie, it's just so beautiful, and this image totally reminds me of it.

There's an emptiness inside her and she'd do anything to fill it in. Though it's red blood bleeding from her now, it's more like cold blue ice in her heart. She feels like kicking out all the windows and setting fire to this life. She could change everything about her using colors bold and bright, but all the colors mix together...to grey. ~*DaveMatthewsBand*~

Combining the two pictures does create a great effect.... like two worlds coming together.. present and past I guess, right? Awesome pic.

I think its great, The way I see it, the further down the street you go, you walk into a dimension of black and white.
