Its is a beautiful image Toto - and a touching message. I think this is Mount Fuji ? You were fortunate to see such a clear view of the cone - and you have captured it splendidly.
The event is catastrophic. In NZ we are also well used to earthquakes but the magnitude of this and the loss of life damage it has caused is terrible. We have had a JapaneseTeam of Search & Rescue experts helping in Christchurch - they returned home to their own disaster today. They were highly thought of in NZ. Poor brave men. LINK
My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . Beautiful image and thoughtful post, Tibor. This is really a big catastrophy. I live in a seismically active part of the Earth, too. I can guess how bad the situation could be. My thoughts with Japanese people.
Great shot Tibor !! (Gave 10 on VB) The Japan disasters had really touched myself and I would help them if I could. I can't stand to see people suffer. This post is an excellent tribute...
