a close-up shot of my moccasins on my wood floor. this shot was included in my final project for my black and white photo class. i love the shallow depth of field and the focus on the front of the shoe.

A very underrated B&W image. Well spotted. The textures of the moccasins and floorboards come out perfectly. The lighting s also good. The narrow DoF adds interest by hiding the background and leaving it open to the imagination. I might have put the focus back a little onto the bow of the laces as currently it looks as if you were not confident about the image, if that makes sense. But still a very nice image.

The subject is excellent. Great positioning and lighting. For me the depth is perfect as the foreground portion leaves no room for doubt as to what the subject is, and adds some dramatic mystery. The two white/light bars in the background add nothing, and are the only distracting influences.
