the spider checked her web shortly after a soft rain, i guess. well i couldn't ask, but the spider nodded as i set up my camera, so i think it will be alright if i post this under my name.

Beautiful capture. Someone correct me, but I think we have an orb weaver spider. They do make the prettiest webs and the raindrops are icing on the cake. Excellent work! High marks and favs and I don't particularly like spiders very much.

Your only 17 and your capturing photos like this? Wow! I can't believe the detail on that spider's back- it's marvelous. I would also say that he is dangerous, probably posioness . he has a very distinctive icon. He has probably come out to get a drink of water. This the best spider capture I have seen to date. What a whopper of a shot. Well done thou good and faithful photographer.
