A well composed and beautiful photo of this very old walkway. The bright sunlight and the bit of sky add much to its beauty.

Smooth seas do not make skilful sailors.
Just think of all the people who have been on this walkway over the centuries! I see that lamp affixed to the side of the building realizing that very likely, at one time it was a torch, and then gas/oil flamed, and probably now, electric. That particular spot on the building holding so much history. Love your picture Vicki.

People are like cameras--sometimes they lose focus.
