While hiking up a mountain, sometimes when its quite the incline, and you want to snap a photo, it's pretty good that it is not out of focus, since your labored breathing can get the better of you. This was taken on Mavromati mountain in Messini, Greece. Thanks for viewing and commenting. Really appreciate it.

Simple it may be but it is an attractive and well taken photo. The flowers stand out so well against the grey/dark background Vicki.

People are like cameras--sometimes they lose focus.
A lovely capture, Vicki...the presence of the little pink flowers are a nice touch of color and a contrast in texture to the tree bark...good entry...best of luck.

Vicki, if you would decide that this one is your contribution for the current 'Bark' contest, I believe that it's a candidate winner too. The original approach of the contest topic is surprising. Not the only usual monotones of bark (although this particular tree lacks for bark, 😁), but larded with subtle floral tones.
