This is the Gold Buddha that we viewed in Bangkok.. my entry for the present contest is not the Gold Buddha... it is simply the entryway leading to this huge room where we view the Gold Buddha.... trust me... this is an amazing site to see. Apologize for not making this clear. Thanks for comments, always appreciated!

Vicki, the by you chosen vantage point may be somewhat misleading in determining the size of the Gold Buddha, but the ceiling and the rear wall however reveal to a certain extent its size.
Through your capture I can also taste something of the atmosphere there. Impressive and somewhat mystical photograph.
