I was cooking and thought it would be neat to snap a photo of a garlic peel. "Let food by thy medicine, and medicine be thy food", from Greek physician Hippocrates. Amazing when you check out the benefits of garlic, we use it a lot in Greek cooking. Thanks a bunch for viewing and commenting, appreciate it!

This garlic skin has a very distinct feel, contrasted with the dark, and reminds me of a flower, it may be the best flower i've seen...... It opens up in a dry bloom...somehow like the bones of Georgia O'Keefe painting....

You presented it very nicely, Vicki! Garlic works well but I just don't want to overdo it. It is like most things...a little is enough.

I can't imagine a 'kitchen' without garlic now. The typical taste and fragrance is very appetizing while it has a good effect to someone's health. I agree about the benefits that you refer to. A minor disadvantage could be that one who has consumed meals, spiced without garlic, couldn't appreciate the exhaled smell of someone whose meal has been prepared with garlic,😁 !
