Looking down into the center, up close, I see a structure in that hole that suggests some sort of stick-end brush, like a very large bottle brush. However, it is surrounded by what looks like the outer edge of a dried sunflower head, and it is all poking out of a wicker basket.
Jeez, I dunno.

If you've ever wanted to make a difference but found it hard to believe that one person could... check out the Kiva Team Caedes discussion thread and discover that anything is possible.
It looks like one of those thistle blooms that I see on the sides of roadways. Originally they are pretty pink but this one has been around a while. It might not be. So I don�t really know. Good one for the contest, Vicki!
