Our sailboat, Panormitis, the elation and joy of sailing is almost indescribable. Sun setting in Kalamata, leaves one breathless. Always appreciate comments, thanks.

Vicki, not only as an old professional seaman, but also one who knows the pleasure of sailing sailboats, I endorse your narrative more than 100%, even though the freedom and the beauty of the setting sun at sea are difficult to put into words.
Your beautiful photograph is therefore a perfect aid for those who don't have 'sea legs' to understand this phenomenon in some way, 😁 !

Clear back in my USAF days, I was stationed at Karamursel, Turkey. Several times I, and a couple of buddies, would sign out little 3-man sailboat for a day of sailing on the Sea of Marmara. Such a wonderful pleasure to experience. The peace and tranquility of sailing. I have never sailed at night but, like your picture, I bet it is a delightful experience as well.
