This is amazing! It reminds of a trip to central Pennsylvania a few years back. We drove up a mountain path and the trees touched each other up above, creating the feel of being in a tunnel of snow. I have pictures of it somewhere. I'll have to get busy looking for them. Thanx for posting this. You brought back some amazing memories.
There is a pleasure in the pathless woods,
There is a rapture on the lonely shore,
There is a society, where none intrudes,
By the deep Sea, and music in its roar,
I love not man less, but Nature more
--Lord Byron
if it falls your lot to be a street sweeper, sweep streets like Michelangelo painted pictures; like Shakespeare wrote poetry; like Beethoven composed music. Sweep streets so well that all the hosts of Heaven and Earth will have to pause and say, 'Here lived a great sweeper who swept his job well'. <Martin Luther King Jr>
I love this picture, and not just because woods in the snow are on of my absolute favorite things. (o.k. maybe it is) This is such a gorgeous shot. Thank you for sharing.
The creation of something new is not accomplished by the intellect but by the play instinct acting from inner necessity. The creative mind plays with the objects it loves.
"The whole problem with the world is that fools and fanatics are always so certain of themselves, but wiser people are so full of doubts." Bertrand Russell
I live in Florida so this looks COLD and I love that. I was born in Buffalo and grew up in Michigan though. We're just starting to have some chill in the air here... a chill that would be like the dead of summer compared to the temp of this photo :) Great job.
Amazing! I can almost hear the crunching of the snow and the parts that are falling off the trees....this reminds me of my growing up years in South Dakota, but I spent one winter in North Dakota...many scenes like this one! Just love your photo!! Feels lonely, yet so filled with serenity....just lovely!!
Amazing Shot! Never seen so much snow so beautifully photographed or in real life, it seems as if I'm there! Very Crisp and Clear photo! So pure! Must have been Stunning in person! *;)
