We could touch her from our car but, she didn't care about us. It was a gorgeous day and there were plenty of berries! She was soooooo large and she seemed so harmless. Her cubs had separated to either side of the street so, she just kept crossing in front of our car to check up on them as if we were not there. There was no one else on the road. This was all ours to observe and photograph. I must admit, I put the camera down because I just had to watch her :)

To be so close, very nice capture, I remember when we were there there was a mom, and cubs, and momma reached inside the drivers side of car, and was swiping at the seat, while the driver was outside and his wife was in the car, people forget that they are wild. Tigs♥ =^..^=

Hmmm, now is this through glass? lol Amazing, Vanda. I think I'd be terrified.

Wow! What a great catch. I'd like to think I could casually observe and photograph if I saw one, but I think I'd be too scared. Look at those claws!

Well that is just plain rude of her, even if she is a single mother with two growing cubs. I hope you got out there and filled a pail or two with berries before she hogged the entire harvest. A nice capture of the bear Vanda. Perhaps add some contrast and/or reduce the brightness to add some depth in the colours.
