This shot was taken from atop the ESB a few summers ago. The mass of humanity, concrete and steel in Manhattan is as unbelievable as it is awe inspiring.
I took some similar shots from atop the Empire State Building, but either you've done a great job of reducing pollution, or when I took my shots the pollution was just unbearable. Great shot.
That is some photo! Wow...but it makes me thankful I live in ORegon...where there is space and lots of GREEN...even tho its an interesting photo, and the fact you got such a clear shot...it is aweinspiring yes...thank you so much...V
What a great shot ! that's a great panoramic picture.....Sam's right, w/o the horizon it would suggest the buildings go on forever. Absolutely terrific !
And then to think that i have walked this all hehehe :-) from the WTC, back and forth over the Brooklyn bridge, along and through central park to Harlem. Still get tired when i think of it lol ! Thanks for bringing me back to memories of 1999 great shot !
there's a lot of green in new york actually. central park, duh?? brooklyn botanic gardens? you have to know where to look. by the way, new york is the BEST place to live.
Jungle indeed! I used to live there! Thankfully i escaped to the midwest! A lot of my headaches went away too. You can't see the sky very much and there are many obstructions to the sun and other nature. Best wording on this photo! Statement well said!
