...or at least it felt that way on this blustery day as not a soul could be seen for as far as the eye could see. The great majority of this coastline is part of Florence, Oregon.
MMM. I'm gonna move there in a while. So, I should be happy. Did you use any effects... the distance blue seems a little blurry.
Beautiful picture. Very peaceful. Good job dude.
If this doesn't go off the scoreboard, nothin ever will. stunningly beautiful. Never seen anything like it. You need to enter this is some contests. What camera and lens did you use on this? Just beautiful.

What a nice dreamy effect you have achieved. I found this photo in the voting booth and decided to check the author. Of course high quality, nice composition - it was no surprise it was Gregory's. And I like the atmosphere of the secluded beach.
No Sig, Just, I want to say "Thank You" to all of the talented photographers for giving me the most beautiful desktops and screensavers I could ever imagine. The artistry here is breathtaking.
If there was a way to give a score higher than 10, I'd give it to this one. A photo I viewed just recently had slightly blurred foliage because of wind. In this case, the wind enhances the photo. It reminds me of a painting.
I am still extremely busy with projects but hopefully things should slow down by the end of the summer. Please know that I appreciate you all and will stop by and visit your images as often as I can. My best to all my friends.
Sincerely,
Carrie
What a wonderful site, and a great shot. Florence is my home, although I haven't lived there for about 10 years. I use to sit in the dunes at this very beach on warm summer days just relaxing and watching the roll of the sea. Thank you for the memories.
Well since I live in Oregon I'll have to pay Florence a visit some time...this is too spectacular of a shot to be so close to and miss out on. What time of year did you take it (I'd like to visit during the same season). You did a wonderful job with the colors and brightness in this picture. It looks like it's from another world.

Anything that excites me for any reason, I will photograph; not searching for unusual subject matter, but making the commonplace unusual.

Spent all morning trying to think of places to live when my wife finishes pharmacy school. We have always thought the Pac NW would suit our tastes even though we have never been there. The only negative thing I hear about the region is lack of sunshine. Decided I needed to give my brain a rest and come to my favorite photo place to look at some images of the area. Your portfolio is making the decision easier! Good work. Recommendations for places to travel/live? Read Corvallis was nice.
Beautiful picture. Very peaceful. Good job dude.
