I am not a photographer. I do take snapshots, and someday would love to really be able to photograph well. It is a learning process. This contest appealed to me as I do like to manipulate photos. For this picture I used Dunstickin's February Autumn, as it seemed timely. For the green grass I used philcUK's Skipton Park. My daughter kindly allowed me to use three of her pictures of New York's Central Park. The trees, Bethesada Fountain for the base and wall, and the Untermeyer Fountain for the dancing girls and floral hedge. The insects are from old botanicals, author unknown, and the cats are from Microsoft's Picture It. The lowly succulent is acturally one I took.

It's almost unrecognisable... I like all your ideas here, especially the succulents that you have turned into a "hedge", very clever. I think you need to work on making all the objects belnd into the image a bit more, some of them look a bit flat at the moment, which is always a problem with this sort of manipulation. Mybe add some shadows or gradiients to make them look a bit more 3D.

This is pretty. But its not really a fantasy theme is it? Oh well, i still thinks its really pretty, and i would love to go there if it were real...

It's complete fantasy. The foreground has the charm of a victorian postcard. Good combination of elements in this garden with a view

I just wanted to comment... I think this image is fabulous and I hope you start posting your photographs soon... a little surrealism is definately to my taste...too much sci fi, abstraction, and it starts to look like something everyone has seen before...but with a ground of reality and a combination of something strange, different, or whimsical...than you create the power of dream....I think you made an excellant and vivid composition here...and should take first place in any contest you enter....
