Artaxerxes and Rover.

In 1925, 4 year old Michael Tolkien lost his toy dog on the beach and to console him, his father, J.R.R. Tolkien wrote a story about Rover, a real dog who gets turned into a toy and goes to find the wizard who changed him to return to being a real dog.

"Then he put the ball in his pocket, just to tease the dog, and turned away. I am sorry to say that Rover immediately bit his trousers, and tore out quite a piece. Perhaps, he also tore out a piece of the wizard. Anyway, the old man suddenly turned around very angry and shouted, "Idiot! Go and be a toy!"

Cool work Aaron. I like your interpretation of the story. Colors are vibrant.

Very nice drawing along with its story. One thing that sticks out to me is how the man's pocket seems so small he can barely fit his hand in it.

Really nice drawing, Aaron. I really like the colors you used. Is that a Jack Russell terrier? I really like the wizard's face and beard.
