This is one of the canyons at Starved Rock SP a couple of weeks ago. It's actually a 9-shot HDR raw sequence, processed into three vertical panels and merged into a 110 Mpix image in CS3. Canon 40D with 18-55 IS 18mm f5.6 ISO 200. Comments welcome. Enjoy.

hey alan. this is the very first HDR that i have seen that i would call a nice shot. usually theydon't even look like a photo. your HDR is very even and flows nicely. the only thing i have a problem with is the black oval thing in the trees on the mid right area.
again, you really did a beautiful job on this piece.

Cool. I live about 70-80 miles from there--Williamsfield, Il., between Peoria and Galesburg. Excellent shot.

The black oval thing in the trees is a wasp nest. I may remove it when I print this, since it's somewhat of a distraction from the pure concept of a nice fall scene.
