My attempt on tilt shift effect. This was taken in NY some winters ago. There's even a "will u marry me" (for someone else) sign on top of one of the buildings! It was exciting to see. :)

Cool shot! I think you did a great job on this and the offer of marriage is a bonus! I wonder if she said YES! (assuming that a guy wrote this...) Women don't do such things.

wait... Is this a real portion of a city or a model?! I am a bit confused: the blur in front and in the back makes for a real "macro" effect tricking my brain into thinking that this is a model. Would you settle my concern?
Oh, and I like the end result: makes for a dynamic image.

It's a real portion of a city. I wish I could find the original photo, but I'm not sure where I put it. I added a gaussian blur and increased the saturation by a lot to make the buildings look toy-like and miniature. I'm glad you like it, thank you!

And how could we endure to live and let time pass if we were always crying for one day or one year to come back-if we did not know that every day in a life fills the whole life with expectation and memory and that these are that day? C.S. Lewis, Out of the Silent Planet
