Working with some old files from November. Clearing skies after all day of rain. Nice weekend music, has nothing to do with the photo but I thought the mood fit. Oh yeah, probably better to just listen and forget the video... : )

OH, I love this Elizabeth. Fantastic sky, once again. And I love the lines in the pier. Great reflections of color in the water as well. Wonderful post.

I love gray tones and it does look like a Seapearl to me Elizabeth. I agree about it being at the top of your list. Such a mood it gives. Interesting that a Train helped set the mood for the Boat.
Have a good weekend.

I love this shot of the fishing boat, the sky is beautiful and the still water with the reflections is gorgeous. I also love this song, I like Train but never here the song before, the video is a little to much of me, so I just closed my eyes and loved hearing it. Nice work.

Elizabeth!!!!!!!! I read one pro refer to the spot you put the boat as a "powerpoint", (Third from the left, third from the bottom.) and your shot demonstrates magnificently why he used that term. The colours in this are typically delicious for your "across waters" shots but the comp is simply beyond the norm and lifts this into a whole other level. Faved in an instant.

lovely composition, just the right exposure to not only capture the distant sky but also provide enough light on the boat for good detail there as well. The angle of the clouds on both sides bring the eye down to the boat while the twin towers of the boat work perfectly in contrast to the horizontal pier. You get the best rating of all I've given in several days.

Elizabeth, now being a sunset lover this would be a winner anyway, but the composition and the way the colour is seperated with the red in the picture surrounding the boat and pontoon make this extra special. Add the fact the boat is looking into the picture too, it can only be S&F! A true beauty.
