6 am at the Riverfront Piers. I've taken so many morning photos at the piers, marina and nearby river fronts I have avoided returning until recently. A late spring shows the cypress is still bare.
Hi Elizabeth
It will get its leafs pretty soon I expect. What a really beautiful sunrise! Nice colors and reflections in the water. The silhouettes of the tree and fence or rail is also very nice.
an instant fave!

Absolutely mezmerizing!! A sunrise, how awesome. Here we only get to see clear sunsets, not that that's bad...but the sunrise shows up only on the 'other' side of the Cascade Mountains. I would bet the peacefulness was just wonderful! What a most beautiful scene and photo.
This is so refreshing and just wonderful. And there is always something special about silhouettes like yours.Verena
What a beautiful morning it is!!?? you did a wonderful job
here and great capture Elizabeth, thanks for sharing.
In V/B given 10/10 without any hesitation!
I love your composition here, E. The tree, the fence, and the boats....and the bridge in the distance, too....and of course that awesome sunrise....all give this a wonderful feel. Excellent photography.
This looks a lot better then Sunday Morning Comin' Town visually anyway E~. I really like the coloring and silhouettes in this. You do sunrises so well.
Elizabeth ... make no mistake about what is to follow.
First and foremost ... gorgeous image, very well-composed and most fitting as an entry to the current contest.
Couldn't help myself when I first saw your image here. Took it up to the highest resolution for a look see.
Some noise is present. Understandably, given the low light conditions. And on this note, I downloaded your photo ... did a slight Curves adjustment ... more importantly, ran it through Neat Image. (<--- Link to freeware or 'demo' version.)
"There is always something waiting at the end of the road ... if you're not willing to see what it is ... you probably shouldn't be out there in the first place."
Hello Elizabeth....You certainly have captured a moment in time with this beauty...Love that sunrise and the silouettes in the foreground and I have to say this picture is a pleasure to view...Well done....All the very best to you Elizabeth................................................Mick.
I said it before and I'll say it again: no one take sunsets and rises like you do, Elizabeth. Normally I remove any contrails from my sky photos but this one (I'm assuming that's what it is in the center) really adds a unique touch to the photo. Into my favorites file it goes, thanks.
