You have to take a long and winding road through beat up marshes to get to the end to this boat launch at Bayou Heron. It feels like the end of the world there. In reality it is more north than where I live, yet it leads to the marshy shores of the bay. A narrow road often filled to the rim with rising water the hairs on my neck often rise so I haven't had the nerve to go before sunrise yet..... "And I feel like I am living Where no one can find me, And I don't know how I've landed here" (excerpt) from : Dirty Road

B&W is a nice choice for this shot,on the edge of your dead end,not much around, cant blame you much for not going there early

This is stunning in black and white. I love the composition, and the mood, and the reflections are outstanding. An amazing picture, E.

Again you introduce me to a musician I did not know E~. Good song for this shot. It reminds of the original version of Cape Fear. It was in b/w if memory serves.
A good presentation.

The subdued muted tones of this image create such a feeling of the end. It is as if the building and shore are real and the water and sky are unreal giving the shoreline a finality that borders on sorrow.

The black and white accentuates the vastness the picture hints at. The building at that distance seems small and almost lost. It is a bit forbidding and lonely. I really like this piece - very well done. Excellent composition.
