This picture is taken in Fagaras city, Romania, near the most beautiful chain mountains called FAGARAS :). Inside there is a nice museum. Very nice town with nice people ;)

A fine looking site. Nice shot.

Where we have come from has absolutely no bearing upon where we are capable of going.

You picked a great spot to take this picture from. You don't fill out the whole pic with just the castle, but you have enough of it there so we know that is what the picture is about. You have a tree that cut down the middle nicely and we even get to see the little river.

I know I shouldn't expect too much "pop" with the colours since it's an old castle and it doesn't really get a paint job all that often. :) But the colours I do see, appear to be true and even and clear along with the rest of the pic.

Nice Job. :)

I too have visited Romania. we visited Cluj-Napoca and Sighisoara. Beautiful Country, indeed. Your shot of the castle is fantastic, I can almost see the history oozing out of the walls! well done!

The castle seems in too good shape to be called "ruins". Interesting how the roof seems to have built in eyes. This is a nice shot that may benefit from a little brightening.

Thank you all for your commments.
I am visiting Romania everyday :):) since I was born here :D
Indeed Cluj and Sighisoara are nice sites. i will post photos from there, too.
The castle is a ruin comparing to other "castles" in Romania :). "Stay tuned" and you will see I am right.
As for the lightening....it was a rainny day, horrible sky, I captured 5 m of blue sky and 5 minutes before the rain started again. As stated before, I have no knowledge of editing programs, my pictures are the natural ones I take with my camera. Lucky me, there are several people on CAEDES, willing to help me improving my photos. :)

Thank you all for everything!
