In the great painting .... Today, in my country, is celebrating 35 years of Freedom Day - Revolution of the Carnations. Then sing it: "a seagull flew, flew... wings to the wind... heart of the sea... like it, we are free..."

Very interesting, but not sure I understand the context! The vertical bars create a dis-jointed feeling, and the "seam" in the middle looks like it is a picture in a book. Makes you stop and think about it!

I agree with beebs, it's a very interesting piece, but I am not sure I understand the context either.

35 years since Freedom Day...Revolution of the Carnations and a lovely song about seagulls. How intriguing! I think we would all like to know which country this is that is now free. This is a curious painting...seagulls perched on books. I think it must be a large mural or series of panels some distance from the bars and twig in the foreground. So... perhaps on your next post you will give us a bit more information?
Here, I think you should have set your focus to the painting and let the bars blue a bit, perhaps even remove the twig. The general concept is lovely and I'd like to see more from you!
