A picture I took a few years back just before Spring came. The photo is taken below the ferry docks overlooking the city I live in (Kelowna, BC Canada). For more information, comments or people wanting a print of it, please email metazoan@msn.com

Well done! This is an example of the power of black and white in a color world. I keep coming back to look...

Did you edit or manipulate this at all? (It doesn't look like you did) But it's just so detailed and the water almost looks metallic--like mercury. Being able to see the buildings behind is just plain awesome. This is one of my faves. Gosh, *exasperated*. I love it.

I know this now. Every man gives his life for what he believes. Every woman gives her life for what she believes. Sometimes people believe in little or nothing yet they give their lives to that little or nothing. One life is all we have and we live it as we believe in living it. And then it is gone. But to sacrifice what you are and live without belief, that's more terrible than dying. Joan of Arc

NICE!
I have to wonder how dangerous it was to go underneath the docks under those conditions - I'll bet it wasn't easy!
Great shot! Thank you!

Thank you for all the comments :)
No editing was done to the image aside from adding a bit to the contrast. I must admit I nearly bailed taking this shot with the rocks poking out of the water being so slick with everything melting, ans suprisingly enough I didn't fall in. It's when I shouldn't fall in to the water is when it usually happens (I must be drawn to it in some metaphysical way).

In midst of nothing, something is. So I ask, "What is this?" Answers come from all around. And I hear, without a sound.

Wow. I had the opportunity to take a similar, but not as awesome, shot of icicles this past winter, but a friend was borrowing my camera!!!
Thank you, so much, for capturing this! It's beautiful!

Sorry, but all the ridiculous filters on this don't do it for me. It seems like it would have been a much better picture without the ridiculously high contrast & other filters you put it through. Maybe you could upload it again without such drastic changes.
