This is a "from the bin" photo. I wish it wasn't because I'd love to be back at the San Juan Islands in Washington. It's such a relaxing place to be and everywhere you look is either beautiful or interesting. I like my Misty Morning shot better, but I like this one too.

Quite a special image. Normally one watching a fog pic does not expect too much to see. Here the view is splendid and full of details - like a story waiting to be told. Or some fairy tale.

Nice composition of the scene and a finely captured photo. With darker lighting or thicker fog this could be real ominous looking scene with boat #13 tied to the dock like that. Good work and best of luck in the contest.

You can't compare one thing to another if you're shown only the one thing; including a feature in this shot that is not shrouded in fog, the boat in the foreground, gives better definition to the fog itself. A good choice and composition. I was a judge for this "Fog" contest and this photo was one of my choices. I thought you did a worthy job with it.
