A low late afternoon Winter sun One of a series of images taken with various degrees of the sun being exposed behind the trees. I decided on this as being the best because of the intensity of the shadows & the absence of any direct or indirect "flare" image of the sun. Image of Wyming Brook, Sheffield UK.

OK, I am taking lessons from this pic. Your woods and brush are much like the foliage here in Virginia...and while I dislike the hassle snow brings, I am getting cranky because there hasn't been any. Now I see that if I manage the light correctly, this kind of ground will yield a great picture! Yeah, the shadows are great, but I am most taken with the little path going off to the left.

This is lovely. It almost looks like a painting. I love the lighting in this and when viewed in full, you sort of get the feel you could be standing there hearing that brook strickling along. Fav'd and thanks for sharing. Well done!
