I got up at a time I had previously thought only came once a day to catch the sunrise over the sea, totally mistimed how long it would take me to walk to my chosen location & missed it. By way of consolation I got this view over Cayton Bay, Yorkshire, with Scarborough castle in the distance.

Gorgeous waters and sky! The little bit of land on the side added a good contrast to the capture. Just beautiful and faved!

I've missed the sunrise many times....sometimes when I didn't want to! :) The clouds are totally impressive, and the bit if white in the ocean says the wind is rising. Lovely scene.

I hate it when that happens!! I've ruined many a shot because of my puffing & panting!....Hee hee....but you still managed to get this excellent shot of the bay, with all its' lovely colours and gentle light. really nice.
