Really this should not have been image 2, as it was actually shot 15-20 minutes prior to the capture in my first posting "Nature's mirror", but its just the way it worked out. This is an unusual scene insomuch as the sea is almost flat calm. The weather off this part of the Yorkshire coast has claimed inumerable ships over the centuries. The seabed is littered with their wrecks, and the small village church graveyards along the coast bear testimony to the many lives lost off the coast. Enjoy the rare tranquility of an Autumn dawn over Cayton Bay, Yorkshire.

A enchanting sunrise capture with the distant mist and the sunlight sparkling on the water, on the foreground beach, running back to the sea. ...Ed

Another keeper!
Although the sky is a stunner, I am equally taken with the waterlines, especially the little stream trickling into the bay...and the reflections, both strong and muted... and shadows...
