Oh my what a gorgeous view and shot, really like those amazing colours and lighting

I like how, from way up here, one can actually see the current in the water below and how the various layers soften in the distance but waver back and forth in color, light and intensity, from the sharp gold of bright sunlight to dark slope to light clouds. Very pleasing to the eye. A nice revelation also occurs when my eye follows that dark slope from top left to lower right and I see that blue silhouette of a single tree at the water's edge... suddenly I'm seeing all that dark blue mottled shape not as a shape but a carpet of tall trees, and then the whole perspective changes. I like an image that can ebb and flow like this (and I'm only partly talking about the water). An excellent entry, Frank, and good luck to you. -Nik
