Don't stand still near these - they'll wrap themselves around your ankles and pull you into the earth, never to be seen again! Great find, excellent background to showcase these unusual plants.

I think these are fiddlehead ferns frank, they are considered gourmet by some connoisseurs, I haven't tried them myself.!!

These are fiddlehead ferns Frank and they are a yummy treat in the spring - just saute' in butter with a touch of lemon.
