This is a familiar breed of chicken raised on my Dad's farm. It is called a Leghorn. I thought I would bring back some old memories. These guys are a good hearty chicken.

Frank, two possibilities:
-because of its tilted position, this leghorn is sailing on a ship in heavy weather (😜) ;
-it's a curious one, wanting to know what happens in its environment.
Think however that the latter possibility is the most probable one.

Caedes is a wonderful community where we not only share images but learn a lot from each other...I did not know about different breeds of chickens so thanks for that info...and what a wonderful sketch and another example of your versatility...love the tilt of the head and somewhat humorous expression...great work, Frank!
