Most likely I am going to be the contrarian here on your image's page.
I was really struck by your composition. Think it is brilliant. So ...
Any chance of seeing this one without the tarting up of colours?
Yes, Curious Les, I am.
That usual nonsense of mine aside. It is a good good shot. Perhaps, even toning down the reds might be a post processing option. As some of the detail is lost (in my humble opinion, of course) from kicking up the saturation levels.
I don't think any of the 'mood' or 'feel' present would be lost as a result. Your composition really carries this one well.
And but of course, thank you for sharing this one with us. :o)
Love the perspective on this shot! It's amazing how some of these flowers can grow just about anywhere! Your background of course is just spectacular! (leave it to you to find such a rare and gorgeous shot!) Nice job. :)Ami
I feel Heathcliffe lurking in the background Count B. Beware whoever picks those gorgeous flowers. A trap they might be. Such a creative work. Not surprising.
I like how you isolated the flowers from the rest of the image. I would like to the rest of the image a little lighter and perhaps a tad toned down in color. great eye.
