Just replaced my Samsung GX20 with a Nikon D90 and i have to say these cameras are chalk and cheese.Testing this out in my back garden this morning,I had the nikon 70-300mm VR at max hand held at iso 400 and i have to say I'm impressed with the outcome. The Samsung with the Tamron 70-300mm would never have handled this .The image has been cropped also.It would have had a lot of motion blur as this bird was busy preening itself..I'm dead chuffed..R.

Clarity is perfect for having it extended all the way Count B. Good luck with your new camera. Your are off to a flying start.
