Excellent close-up of this beautiful bird of prey. I didn't realize they were that fast. Thanks for sharing.

What a good shot Count B. Is that a patch of artificial grass he is perched upon? I love the look of the eye.

I was out bird watching one day, and happened to see a Hawk come straight DOWN from the sky to get himself some dinner! And I sure thought he was going to crash! Talk about fast!! So I can well understand what you wrote Richie! I love this photo, it shows the feather detail just magnificently! His eyes are just awesome, and the black touches on the feathers, so very nice also. I wonder why he is standing on a patch of fake grass too. Thanx a bunch m' dear! Verena

Now we were told at Thorpe, that the 'Lanner' Falcon was 'on par' with the speed of the Perry!...

Anyhoo...simple fact is...t'buggers are a lot quicker than me!.....

Cool shot!...

I was going to ask that question myself...Richie, is it a
stuffed bird? I was curious due to the fake grass turf he is standing on. V
