Eternal Father, strong to save Whose arm hath bound the restless wave. Who bidd'st the mighty ocean deep Its own appointed limits keep Oh hear us when we cry to thee For those in peril on the sea. Written in 1860 after the Reverend William Whiting came through a fierce storm. This is the official hymn of the Naval Academy (US).

That was in the old days, Richie. Today they pray that the GPS doesn't go on the blink because half the guys don't know how to use a sextant, leave alone the calculations :) Beautiful image with wonderful lighting and composition.

Was smiling about the above comment of my former maritime colleague Raj, and I like to agree with him. I have in my family a young maritime officer. Has never seen a sextant. Will probably think that it has something to do with sex instead of navigation, lol.
Great manip of the Saint Mary's lighthouse at Whitley bay, Tyne& Wear, Richie. Well done.
Regards, Cornelius.

The quote fits the shot so well Count B. You done a super job with your editing skills on this one. Looks like several shots incorporated in this one.
