And yes he winged me.. Larus ridibundus Black headed gull also know as a Stuka around here. Not really a black-headed bird, more chocolate-brown - in fact, for much of the year, it has a white head. The commonest inland gull, particularly in N England, Scotland and Wales. Large colonies along the south and east coasts of England.

Crappus Acuratis, Larus ridibundus? My knowledge about the Latin language doesn't go that far, so I believe you. Therefore to me it's a 'maritime pigeon', Richie (lol).
Beautiful capture!

He's not a distant cousin of Biggus Dickus, is he? I'll have to hear him squalk to tell. Nice job, Richie.

The title says something...as does Corn's output...and Cat's...

Why do I always keep referencing this post by the Cap'n?

...Evidently, a few HAVEN'T gotten to know their "demons inside" yet...

Thankfully, I don't have that problem...Nuff said...

Hey, you have got a real sharp photo of this Stuka on its horizontal flight - cruising mode and not attack mode!

He is prettier than the ones around the U.S. He does look like he wants to bomb you though.

Another very fine and accurate image, which could be published in a nature magazine.

I think it or you are a crappus inaccuratis. At least you are full of something and it appears to be good photos.
Nice work Count B.
