I must go down to the seas again to the lonely sea and sky And all I ask is a tall ship and a star to steer her by And the wheel’s kick and the wind’s song and the white sail’s shaking And a gray mist on the sea’s face, and a gray dawn breaking.

Beautiful manip and narrative Richie. Think however that the narrative comes from the past. Although navigation has become more easy now (because of GPS and other automated equipment) the requirements (licences) for navigationing a ship have become nowadays far more strict.
Love this post!

John Masefield may have had sea fever when he wrote his words down, but you gave it visually to all of us with this marvelous photo.

I love the way the lighthouse beam is hitting the full moon - and the Masefield. Great work, Richie.

Very creepy and spooky feel. Don't know which I like more, the fog, full moon or the lighthouse. Heck, I'll just say I liked it all. Graet job!

Wow! Superb Richie~you are the master of these eerie and provocative captures! The beam from the lighthouse is as thin as a laser, cutting straight to that impressive moon! Bravo! :)Ami

What a great place for the Count to wait and find another victim. This one makes the blood curdle. I guess it would be like cottage blood for your species.
Wonderful manip. All that is missing is a bat in the beam of light.

Excellent post photo work and manipulation. I like the mist hanging low in your image. Nice dark moody feel and look.
