In the light of recent events.I would ask you,The next time you pick up your camera to go shooting.Stop a while and take stock of all the beauty that is around us that we sometimes take for granted..I know i for one being a city boy who's had a love for the country all my life,Will never ever take this great gift for granted ever again. Amen to that Richie. Verena would have loved this too......she loved the beauty that surrounded her..........and brought that beauty to Caedes for all of us to share with her. She was special.....and she will be greatly missed around here. J

I noticed this one last night, but didn't get around to do all the commenting that I had wanted to, so I'm back :) This is truly splendid, Richie! I love the soft Orton-like appearance, and all the fresh green about! I will assume you added the flowers, and if you did.... a very lovely and special touch it was! I could easily this image in a child's storybook... very enchanting :) But, the most special touch of all, is that of the sweet and endearing verse! Beautiful tribute for our precious and much loved friend! Saved + faved.

Your words are so powerful Richie, I dont even know where to begin. My mother would cherish this, as she did all of your beautiful photos, especially the ones you sent to her personally. She really did have an amazing understanding of beauty and cherished all the little things. She adored when the little crocus bulbs would start to pop their tiny little faces out in the springtime. You are such a sweet man and I can see so clearly why my mom was so close to you. Thanks so much for your lovely tributes. They are all saved and faved for me always.
