Have my doubts as well Richie. What I know for sure is, that you have captured a wonderful still live. Composition could have been done by one of the Old Master's.
* Owing to the deterioration in my hands, I find that I cannot comment as much as I should..But please know...I do look at all your posts!..and will leave my 'moniker' >OB< when I do so!...Thank you all *

"I'm never going to be famous. My name will never be writ large on the roster of Those Who Do Things. I don't do any thing. Not one single thing. I used to bite my nails, but I don't even do that any more." -
Dorothy Parker (1893-1967)
I too, am undecided, Richie, but the arrangement in the wheelbarrow looks abstract :) I especially like the spot light effect and the rustic feel provided by the wheelbarrow and wooden background. I think I would have been tempted to clone out the Celtic design and animals at the top and the object on the left...but that's just me. Wonderfully captured, and best of luck in the contest!
Not really abstract in my opinion... it reminds me of one of those classic old oil paintings, really enjoying the texture of it. I think some of the elements such as the rug/carpet and the poster above the barrow are distracting and it would be better if they weren't there... actually the rug would probably be fine if the poster were absent... but I am imagining this wasn't taken at a location where you could simply start ripping stuff off the walls.
If I were you I would be tempted to try some further photoshopping with this... the central element is just so appealing...

Good Luck!
